I've been building things for the web for over 10 years now. Across that time my focus narrowed, and for the last several years I've worked full-time on two WooCommerce plugins: Advanced Woo Search and Advanced Woo Labels.
I launched Advanced Woo Search in 2017 and Advanced Woo Labels in 2020, and since then I've spent my days building, supporting, and improving both for tens of thousands of stores.
Over that time the plugins have been installed on 80,000+ sites and downloaded more than 6 million times.
But times are changing. For a solo founder it's becoming harder and harder to get traction and reach new users. Many founders I've spoken with have mentioned a decline in new sales starting in 2026 - and I've felt it too. Partly in response to that, and partly because it just feels right to give my plugins a single brand I can expand to new products, I decided to merge them under one roof. Below I'll cover everything in detail.
Why I'm merging everything under one brand
For years, Advanced Woo Search and Advanced Woo Labels lived on completely separate sites, with separate identities - as if they were unrelated side projects I happened to maintain. That made sense when they actually were side projects. It makes a lot less sense now that this is my full-time business, with more products on the way.
So I'm bringing everything together under one roof: KramaKit.
The name comes from two parts:
- Krama - a Slavic word for shop or store. It's Belarusian (крама), and it also turns up in Polish dialect and Ukrainian. It reflects both my heritage and the people these plugins are built for: folks running online stores.
- Kit - simply, a set of well-built tools.
Put together, KramaKit means "a kit of plugins for your store."
Pulling everything under one brand lets me do a few things I couldn't do before:
- Support you better. One place for documentation, accounts, and help - instead of scattered sites and logins.
- Launch new products more effectively. A shared brand makes it far easier to introduce new plugins and have existing customers discover them.
- Build toward bundles and cross-product features - growth that benefits every customer down the line.
It's a deliberate decision to set things up properly for the long term.
What to expect next
Consolidating into one brand isn't the finish line for me - it's the starting point. Here's roughly how the next few months look, and what I'm personally working through:
- Now - the new KramaKit site is live. That's the part that's done.
- Until July 2026 - moving all the blog posts from the individual plugin sites over to KramaKit, so years of articles and documentation finally sit in one place.
- Until September 2026 - merging the separate plugin sites into KramaKit entirely, with full redirects so every existing link keeps working. The customer portals move over too.
- Q3 2026 - a brand-new plugin, Advanced Filters, joining the family.
Yes, as you can see, there's plenty of work to do. But I'm genuinely excited about the rebrand and everything else coming with it. It's given me a real second wind.
If you already use my plugins
This is the part I most want to be clear about: if you already use Advanced Woo Search or Advanced Woo Labels, your experience stays exactly the same.
- Your license is fully valid. Nothing needs to be repurchased, re-registered, or migrated.
- Updates continue as normal. Same update schedule, same support.
- Your sites are unaffected. No action required on your end - installed plugins keep running without interruption.
- Support stays where it is. For now, it continues on the existing plugin sites - advanced-woo-search.com and advanced-woo-labels.com. When the portals move later this year, you'll be guided to the new location. Nothing lapses in between.
The only genuinely new things are the brand name and the website address. Same plugins, same quality, same person behind it - just gathered under one name at last.
